We need every new (& old) neighbor to come out 9/11. Help make a difference in your Magnolia Grove neighborhood & our Cleveland Park. We are missing out by being the ONLY Neighborhood of the 11 in Superneighborhood 22 NOT showing up! New homeowners, long-term renters, everyone - please join us and bring your neighbors. Walk or bike down, join a committee, and get the latest important updates you need to know. Our first meeting in years will start with a Bang and include a brief debate on the very much discussed name "Magnolia Grove." Houston is no longer the "Magnolia City" West End stole the good name. It's hard to find on Google. Every real estate agent gets it wrong. Admit it, you still think we live in Rice Military, right? Bring your phone for the vote. Learn the history. Neighbors, it’s critical that when they ask, "What’s important and needs funding?" —
more than just two people from Magnolia Grove respond!
Look at the engagement near us!
Why aren't WE speaking up?
We need a strong, united voice — and that starts with building a Civic Club!
Magnolia Grove Civic Club (MGCC)
Our community should know the decision-makers who fund the major projects in our area. This organization funds transformative projects — and the Waugh Cloverleaf Removal Plan is one of them.
This project could bring incredible improvements to our neighborhood, 16 acres of green space back, and slower traffic on Memorial and Jackson Hill.
We should be asking daily to get this moved off the back burner.
Haven’t heard of it yet? That's because our civic club is dead.
Just one of many issues you may not be aware of because the MGCC is dead.
Cleveland Park was there to represent! Thank You Board Member Volunteers. Congrats Matt and WECC!
We picked up a lot of trash f
We applaud your efforts and see several Random Native Trees & Shrubs Have Been Planted in The Park. Please let us help get a permit before you plant, and never plant a tree 2 feet from a picnic table or in June. Follow Up: As expected, Both Trees Died in Early July and Were Removed by HPARD!
Emmanual Nunez is doing great things for Houston Neighborhoods.

Rededicated by Mayor Whitmire – April 19, 2025. We added two words to the name: Officer & Memorial. Thanks for Joining Us to rededicate the ballfield and meet the lovely Hearn family on "Tim Hearn Day" in Houston.
$777 raised so far of $1500 needed. We have pledged to replace the aging 20-year-old ballfield sign with one that tells the the story of Tim's sacrifice. Donations are tax deductible. Please chip in today to help us with this important project. Our Mayor offered a touching tribute to his friend in April. The Hearn family & HPARD have helped design it -and the Hearns love it!
