- The Friends Group is esteemed list of our city's finest parks. Several have been amazing mentors for our cause. They have done amazing things with their parks thanks to engaged neighbors. Considering Houston has almost 400 City Parks, it's a great honor to be selected. We've met all the requirements - We'll pitch them to be named in 2025 - we love the people @ HPARD, they are an amazing, dedicated group.
