SUBMIT A 311 Step by Step
1. DIAL 311 AND FOLLOW PROMPTS, or
2. EMAIL 311@houstontx.gov
If you email, include photos pertinent to your concern with a clear, detailed description of the problem. Ask in the email for 311 to reply with a case reference number.
Set a Reminder to follow up on your issue within XX days - depending on the issue.
*FYI*
If ten neighbors submit the same issues, only the first may be assigned a number. In your email, I suggest adding "if a 311 has been submitted for this concern already - please copy me with that number. Be polite. They are processing a very high number of 311 calls and are great to work with.

Rededicated by Mayor Whitmire – April 19, 2025. We added two words to the name: Officer & Memorial. Thanks for Joining Us to rededicate the ballfield and meet the lovely Hearn family on "Tim Hearn Day" in Houston.
$777 raised so far of $1500 needed. We have pledged to replace the aging 20-year-old ballfield sign with one that tells the the story of Tim's sacrifice. Donations are tax deductible. Please chip in today to help us with this important project. Our Mayor offered a touching tribute to his friend in April. The Hearn family & HPARD have helped design it -and the Hearns love it!
