Your financial support as a Founding Friend will help us do great things for our beautiful Cleveland Park. We are a Texas non-profit 501(c)3. Memberships expire 1/1/2027
Thank You, Founding Friends of Cleveland Park.
Our memberships are four months longer than all other Friends groups, good through January 2027. Most Friends groups are $25-$30 annually. We are the only group with no additional annual Civic Club membership dues. Most nearby are $20 - $35 annually. We hope that someday, a Magnolia Grove Civic Club might come back. All members become voting members of the non-profit. Thank you for coming out for your park!

I've TRIED TO HELP GET THE MAGNOLIA GROVE CIVIC CLUB RESTARTED. WE KNOW OUR PARK AND NEIGHBORHOOD IS MISSING OUT SINCE WE DON'T HAVE AN ACTIVE, INCLUSIVE CLUB. WE'RE STILL THE ONLY NEIGHBORHOOD OF THE 11 IN SN22 NOT ATTENDING MONTHLY MEETINGS. I ATTEND EVERY MEETING - IT'S IMPORTANT -AND ONE HOUR A MONTH ISN'T ALL THAT MUCH TO ASK!
WE CAN DO GETTER NEIGHBORS. I'VE MET SO MANY GOOD NEIGHGORS AND REFUSE TO GIVE UP. MORE LATER.
The Kinder study tells us Houstonians are willing to invest additional funds for their parks and neighborhoods. For Parks up to $100/year.
Did you know Houston ranks last in Texas in PerCapita spending on parks and near the bottom nationally? We need to change that! If you agree or have taken this study now is. a great time to step out to support our great park.
Sadly, it's our parks that always get hit first during times of tight budgets. We're experiencing this right now as the grass is high and the fleas are out en masse because of it.
These funds will help us go after some big grants in the future and hopefully see a new playground as we've heard may happen this year.
Membership Timing: Now - January 1, 2027

Rededicated by Mayor Whitmire – April 19, 2025. We added two words to the name: Officer & Memorial. Thanks for Joining Us to rededicate the ballfield and meet the lovely Hearn family on "Tim Hearn Day" in Houston.
$777 raised so far of $1500 needed. We have pledged to replace the aging 20-year-old ballfield sign with one that tells the the story of Tim's sacrifice. Donations are tax deductible. Please chip in today to help us with this important project. Our Mayor offered a touching tribute to his friend in April. The Hearn family & HPARD have helped design it -and the Hearns love it!
