GIVE BACK TO YOUR PARK. GENERAL DONATIONS AND MEMORIAL |NAMING OPPORTUNITIES

Give Back to Your Park. We need You.

YOUR GIFTS CAN DO A LOT OF GOOD FOR THIS PARK

Do you enjoy spending time in Cleveland Park? Why not give back to the place that provides so much for you and your family and you dog(s). Whatever activities you enjoy in the Park will benefit from any tax deductible donation you may gift your park.   Renters in the big three apartments, look at what you pay annually for the VALET TRASH scam  and you ll realize that  investment to improve your park s will give you much more future satisfaction than paying someone to walk your trash twenty feet to a dumpster five days a week.

In an era of tight  city budgets,   it usually our Parks Department  that get hit first. In the last Kinder study Houstonians said they would be willing to pay up to $10/month  more to improve their city parks. Houston ranks dead last of the big cities in Texas in per resident park spending and near the bottom nationally.  Private partnerships have created some amazing flagship parks in our city for sure and we are park and neighborhood is fortunate to be the gateway entrance to one of them.  It's the 186 parks like ours in the neighborhood category that have often been left on their own and  we've not been helped by having a weak or no civic club organization lobbying for us.. Even the years when Magnolia Grove Civic Club was showing up they never were Park - centric,

However you wish to contribute, your financial support helps keep the park looking great.

Your financial support helps fund new activities and we hope might include;

  • Adding new flower gardens, and other landscaping
  • Maintaining the walking path, playground enhancements, daily trash collection and recycling by volunteers, and new events.
  • Purchasing a bulletin board, pet waste dispensers, recycling bins, signage and screens for the tennis courts and electrical boxes

Help us maintain and improve Cleveland Park by making a contribution.
